Mark Juviler

Mark Juviler is a father, friend, IT expert and much more.

He is the President and Founder of Pulse Technologies, a technology consultancy company for high-level database and software design. With Pulse Technologies Mark has worked with a wide variety of companies from hedge funds and banks to NASDAQ.

Mark Juviler is an expert Developer and Data Base Architect. He specializes in designing, developing and administrating best-of-breed enterprise databases and data warehouses. In this capacity, he has worked for Gerald Metal, Inc., the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of White Plains, NY, and Consolidated Edison.

In addition to his Developer expertise, Mark Juviler has also worked as a Database Architect, a Senior Systems Engineer, and an Applications Specialist. He has a multitude of technical skills such as SQL SSIS, SQL SSAS, SSRS, ETL, TSQL, SAN & NAS, and Sybase.

Throughout all of Mark Juviler's career lies an strong mainline of entrepreneurship.

While studying for his degree in Management Information Systems at Pace University, Mark tirelessly worked at IBM's Marketing Group in White Plains, NY, where he designed and developed several marketing databases.

Mark Juviler then went on to spend 10 years working at a number of specialist and consultant positions, which eventually lead him to co-founding and serving as the CTO for his own company App City--an internet software and consulting company--in 1997.

Outside of work Mark volunteers for Homes with Hope, has worked as a builder with the Westport Young Woman’s League, and is a proud member of the Westport Historical Society.

Mark tries to stay on top of all the latest technology trends from quantum computing to artificial intelligence. He is passionate about human rights and the environment and leveraging his extensive IT knowledge for pro-bono projects.
