Mark Kelcher
Entrpreneur in Dallas, Texas
Just out of college, most kids begin searching for the first job to start their career, but notMark Kelcher. He and his Brother Dirk Kelcher decided to create their own career, embarking on a journey which has taken them to heights they never imagined. With what began as living the dream of every kid in their 20’s, Mark Kelcher and Dirk Kelcher turned the dream into a reality and life-long career venture. The Kelcher Brothers started their first bar, Jack’s Pub and Volleyball Club, in 1994, giving them the knowledge and experience needed for their next 20 years in the food and beverage industry.
After selling Jack’s Pub in 2006, Mark Kelcher and Dirk Kelcher followed their love of music to their next two ventures, the Gypsy Tea Room and Inferno Lounge. With many of their staff members from Jack’s Pub, the Kelcher Brothers took the live music venues to new heights, allowing them to use their business and finance educations to build the businesses to a level at which they could sell to bigger companies for a sizeable profit.
