Mark Kowalski, a graduate of Kean University with degrees in Political Science and Journalism, began his career contributing significantly to the media industry as a nationally syndicated reporter for over sixty radio stations across the United States. His skills in articulating complex topics in an engaging manner eventually led him into television news reporting, where he worked with prominent networks such as Fox News, MSNBC, and ESPN. This experience deepened his understanding of the media’s influence and the importance of responsible journalism.

Driven by a strong sense of purpose, Mark transitioned into education, a field he feels genuinely passionate about. After completing his alternate route certification as an elementary educator at New Jersey City University, he took on the role of a Middle School Media and Technology Teacher at William Davies Middle School. His responsibilities have grown to include serving as the Director of Audio-Visual Production and Director of Social Media and Public Relations for the Hamilton Township School District, where he applies his media expertise to enrich the educational experience and community engagement.

Continuing his commitment to education, Mark is pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at William Paterson University, with the goal of achieving principal licensure in the next five years. This step towards educational leadership underscores his dedication to making a positive and lasting impact in the educational landscape.

Even as he progresses in his educational career, Mark remains connected to journalism, working as a freelance reporter for several major news outlets, including The Intelligence by The New York Times.
