Mark Luedeman is a New York-based custom furniture maker with over 25 years of experience in woodworking and carpentry. Self-employed since the beginning of his career, Mark Luedeman has a variety of creative outlets. He draws upon his extensive contracting and budgeting experience, as well as his creative mindset, when working on furniture projects for individual clients.

Before focusing solely on furniture in 2010, Mark Luedeman worked as a freelance carpenter for six years, during which time he built custom cabinetry and installed decorative paneling and moldings. He also executed several large-scale projects such as offices, personal libraries, and sports bars. He began making a living through his carpentry in 1990 as a set builder for photographers shooting for prominent magazines. In addition, he built props for window displays for Macy's, Lord and Taylor, and Dillards, among other retail stores.

Mr. Luedeman's work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Westchester Home, and the new magazine Galerie. He began his career as a self-taught, freelance photography assistant while pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology at Lawrence University.
