Marko Glisic is a Certified Public Accountant with deep expertise in audit, compliance, financial strategy, and business advisory. As a Partner at GreenGrowth CPAs—the leading firm serving the legalized cannabis industry—Marko helps high-growth businesses navigate complex financial and regulatory environments with clarity and precision.

Marko began his career at Deloitte in Los Angeles, where he spent eight years and rose to the role of Audit Senior Manager. During that time, he led large-scale audits for major companies, oversaw multi-national teams, managed 12,000+ hour audit budgets, and led engagements involving IPO preparation, debt offerings, and billion-dollar M&A transactions. His technical expertise spans internal controls, ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 815, and other advanced accounting standards.

In 2018, Marko joined GreenGrowth CPAs as a partner, driven by the opportunity to bring Big Four-level service to an underserved and rapidly evolving industry. At GreenGrowth, he built a 20-person audit team with a combined 124+ years of experience, developed over 65 hours of training content, and helped lead peer review efforts that earned the firm top audit quality ratings. He also pioneered internal control frameworks and inventory costing models tailored to the cannabis industry, elevating standards across the space.

As an entrepreneur, Marko has also built a boutique firm that supports early-stage startups and founders. Through his work, he has helped hundreds of companies improve their accounting infrastructure, navigate financial audits, and access high-quality tools and templates—all while maintaining a strong focus on education and accessibility.

Marko is an advocate for innovation in accounting, especially the use of AI and automation to improve workflows and efficiency. His reports and insights are used by CPAs, attorneys, CFOs, and business operators across the U.S.

A graduate of UCLA, Marko holds a B.A. in Business Economics and passed all four parts of the CPA exam on his first try. He's also a former varsity volleyball player and brown belt in karate—bringing discipline, collaboration, and resilience into every aspect of his leadership.
