Marko Savic

• I’m a business design consultant with experience in strategy development and business planning, financial management and not least the EU grants on business model innovation calls. I recently founded a research institute dŠola Ljutomer, where I serve as the support partner of the Design for Europe (initially European Design Innovation Platform).
• My professional background comes from outdoor advertising business communications, and running a strategic design management consultancy. I enjoy being a temporary resident of Berlin, Vienna and Ljubljana.
• There’s more. I’m also an independent researcher with two masters, one of media studies and the other in business administration. My book on business models design (title in Slovene is Oblikovanje poslovnih modelov: Kje se skriva kljuc do debelih vrednosti v prodornih organizacijah) was published in the summer of 2014. I particularly enjoy empowering and connecting colleagues from within the design and the creative industries with the business innovation community.
