I spend my time trying to help people make their job a bit easier by leveraging good technology, good information management and good design. I’m about acknowledging complexity and then trying to make everything as simple as possible. During the 2000’s I led the design and implementation of Internet and Intranet solutions built on Microsoft technologies for numerous New Zealand Government Agencies, State Owned Enterprises, and private companies.

My primary technical expertise is in SharePoint, but to compliment this I bring significant experience in business process, creative design, and information architecture to ensure that technology solutions are fit for purpose, easy to use and delivering value to the business.

I particularly enjoy training and public speaking and have been a regular speaker at technology and business conferences in New Zealand and Australia where I enjoy the opportunities to share my passion and opinions on SharePoint and emerging technologies that impact information management within organisations.

At home I’m a classic kiwi dad, father of four, standing on the sports field enthusiastically urging my boys to “Put the ball in the goal!” I enjoy getting on the tools and building a fence or retaining wall and with a Landscape designer for a wife I’m always made to do it properly.
