Mark Perryman (born March 13, 1986) is an American technology and operations executive, government affairs expert, and longtime community advocate. He is a candidate for Ventura County Supervisor, District 2, with a career focused on improving lives through smart, results-driven solutions.

Perryman previously served as Chief of Staff to the District 2 Supervisor, where he helped oversee county operations, improved constituent services, and led policy reforms. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), with a strong track record in product development and government modernization.

From building Walt Disney’s global ticketing platform to launching beta initiatives at Amazon and Ring, Perryman combines private sector innovation with public-sector leadership.

Early Life and Education

Mark Perryman was born in Thousand Oaks, California, and raised in the Conejo Valley. He attended local schools and earned the rank of Eagle Scout through a troop based out of Ascension Lutheran Church.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge, with a focus on urban planning and electronic media management. In addition, he completed advanced coursework in product management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering.

Career

Perryman is a classically trained and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an experienced Product Manager. His work spans both public service and private innovation:
