Mark Royce Summers
Mark is an Indiana farm boy originally from Huntington. He did his undergraduate studies at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion. He was trained by The Navigators when he was in the US Navy after college. He lived with the Nav staff team discipleship leader at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. That is where he gained his love for the Word and discipleship. He received his M.Div from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. After seminary, Mark served with HCJB World Radio for 17 years in leadership development from 1986 to 2002. Mark and Nancy transferred over to the Navigators in 2003 and served until June 2005. Presently they have returned to minister with ACTION in leadership development, evangelism, and discipleship preparing and multiplying spiritual laborers for God´s Kingdom in Ecuador and Latin America. Nancy is Quiteña, a city girl from Quito, Ecuador but happily married to Mark. Nancy studied Economy at the Central University in Quito. Mark and Nancy met while Nancy was temporarily serving as the receptionist for Asomavision, where Mark had his office. They were married in August 1997. Nancy had dedicated her life to the Lord to serve Him in Biblical counseling, children’s and women’s ministry developing women leaders, working with the less fortunate and under-privileged. Mark and Nancy have been called by God to evangelize and make disciples, training and equipping life-long leaders in Latin America. Isaiah 60:22 is their ministry focus promise: "A little one will become a 1000, and a small one a strong nation; I, the Lord, will do this in [My] time."
