Mark Rus is the Chief Executive Officer of Delix Therapeutics, Inc., a CNS-focused drug discovery company located in Boston, Massachusetts. Mark previously served as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Atlas Venture.
Mark formerly served as the Group Vice President of Neuroscience at Shire Pharmaceuticals. He had built a team of 5 direct and over 600 indirect reports and has developed Shire's Neuroscience commercial strategy to excel in the US and global markets. Here, he has led teams that are responsible for multiple branded in-market and PI-III pipeline assets with a focus on growing a leading $2.5BN business.
Mark's education serves as a backbone for his current success, holding a Masters of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BA (Hons.) in Political Science & International Comparative Studies from the University of Western Ontario. In addition to his education, Mark has a unique background serving in the Canadian political system. For several years, he served as a Policy Advisor, Speechwriter, and Member of the Minister of State's Staff. In addition, he also served as the Prime Minister of Canada's Federal Election Campaign Team.
