Mark is an economist by trade and a humanist at heart. That ethos, and his inquisitive, optimistic nature, have helped him guide start-ups across a range of sectors, including retail, film & entertainment, hotels, finance, alternate protein and technology. His impact comes from founder coaching and development and operational and capital allocation assistance to both small and large projects across the globe.

As a PADI divemaster, Mark has explored the waters of the Philippines, Indonesia and Mexico. On land, he loves sampling local delicacies and wandering through rural, remote areas. Mark points to his time in rural villages in India, Myanmar and Borneo as inspiration to help build a more multicultural, diverse business world here in Australia.

Mark is a director of Babylon Consulting and founded its lifestyle business. Mark just launched Paul Ramsay Foundation's inaugural Social Enterprise Growth Incubator and before joining Sefa Partnerships, Mark consulted with start-ups and accelerators, including WeWork and Airwallex, was a Venture Partner at Babylon Ventures, Advisor at Gartner and in Commercial Finance at Deloitte and GE. He’s also volunteered at UNHCR, OzHarvest and World Animal Protection.
