Mark Selles

I am an award-winning landscape designer and serve as the Executive Director and Senior Landscape Designer at DeSignia Inc. My work is rooted in a lifelong love for gardening, building, and spending time outdoors. From an early age, I was drawn to understanding how spaces function and how thoughtful design can shape the way people experience their environment.

I believe strong landscape design begins with discipline, not trends. Every project should reflect the architecture of the home and support practical use of the space. I focus on quality over quantity and pay close attention to detail, providing the same level of care on every project, regardless of size or visibility.

Much of my growth has come from learning through experience. Early challenges taught me humility, preparation, and the value of continuous improvement. I remain committed to professional certification and ongoing education to refine my skills and stay open to new ideas.

Character guides my work as much as technical skill. Faith, integrity, teamwork, and accountability shape how I lead and collaborate. When a landscape functions well, endures over time, and leaves a client genuinely satisfied, I consider the project a success.
