I'm 23 years old, I very much enjoyed being a student for the first 21 years of my life, most recently I graduated my Masters in Urban History from the University of Leicester.

I now work two part-time jobs at the Churches Conservation Trust, one is leading a youth empowerment project/regeneration project at All Saints Langport, and the other is being a Support Officer for the North region. I recently completed a year's volunteer internship with the CCT which I got through luck, perseverance and hard work.

Apart from historic buildings, urban regeneration and history, I also have a keen interest in gender and sexuality (developed from studying gender history), this combined with a passion for new media means a lot of my tweetery is on a gender thread rather than (or as well as) a history thread.

I like watching telly and browsing the internet because they teach you things.

My idols are Sarah Beeney, Dan Snow and Kevin McCloud, one day I'd like to be an amalgamation of all three
