Mark Miller

Mark Miller was a former guitarist/vocalist that joined The Grass Root Band in the 70's. He toured extensively with the band through band management/agents like the William Morris Agency and others doing many radio and TV shows for promoting the groups up and coming performance in what ever town they would be playing in. After leaving The Grass Roots in 1979 he went back out with the group in 1981 for a few more dates. Mark moved back to his home in Huntington Beach, Calif. where he got involved with Scotty Brothers Records recording "Party Girl" and "Bad Boy". Mark kept performing until he moved to Nashville in 1990 and during those years Mark performed at the Blue Bird Cafe for a live taping on the "Crook and Chase" TV show promoting his new solo career and an interview about The Grass Roots stories. Mark also did several shows with Harry Chapman on "Talk of the Town". Mark formed a group called "Sedona" that was produced by Noro Wilson and became a developmental project for "RCA Nashville" ran by Joe Galante in 1993. Sedona performed on the Grand Ole Opry,the Ryman,and many TV shows. Mark quit performing in 1998 and became a Licensed contractor/real estate investor in Nashville under Milmar Home Services. He has purchased,renovated and sold many homes since 2000 to current. Mark picked up playing again in 2009 and put together a wedding/party show band called "Pink Cadillac".They mainly play weddings and corporate events,Mark also performs a "Grass Roots" Medley in there shows. What started out to be a weekend hobby playing music turned into a semi full time job. The band had a great year in 2013 playing over 100 dates and doing a large tour for TD Bank Wow Awards Show. Mark married in 2004 to Pam Miller who is a successful Realtor in the Nashville area, Pam has two grown children, Ryan Karl who played for the Vols under Phil Fulmer and daughter Rhys Wittenberg who is a nurse Practitioner at High Point University.
