Mark Goodson

Mark Goodson is an operations manager, a children's book publisher (fun), and speaker (aspiring). He is the Operations Manager at Emprint, the largest commercial printer in Louisiana. He is also the managing partner at Me and My Dad Books, a print on demand children's book company located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Mark grew up in South Louisiana and quickly became nomadic due to his dad's career in oil and gas. He spent summers at the family cabin in Montana, a place his family still loves and cherishes today. Mark's dad is from Hungry Horse, Montana and his mom is from Cow Island, LA, now isn't that a combination. Mark met his wife Stacie at LSU while he was attending graduate school. Their romance was not immediate and developed through an amazing friendship and after Stacie completed her degree. Every day he wonders how he landed such an amazing partner.

Mark started Me and My Dad Books in June of 2008, publishing a total of zero books. Well, he quickly learned publishing is not easy. Today Me and My Dad Books has six titles with a total of 12 editions available. His retail books are found in dozens of stores all across Louisiana. Me and My Dad Books is the first publisher to offer print on demand, collegiate licensed children's books in the world. These are available exclusively through the website and through select partners. They are cool!

Mark loves spending time with his family, yes all of them. He and Stacie have three children, Timothy, Winston and Madison. Here is a quick snapshot of Mark; he loves his friendships, fishing, scuba diving, traveling and adventure, sashimi , being an entrepreneur, hiking, horses and farms, smoothies, anything caramel, boats, very sweet iced tea, bacon and steaks, Montana and Louisiana although he was born in Texas, music but his taste has been called strange, swamps and marshes, and his wife Stacie.
