Mark Andrew Thorneycroft co-founded Stavian Ltd in October 2011. Stavian provides Case Management for People with Acquired Brain Injuries, Consultancy, Training and Supported Living Services for Children and Young People.

Prior to this Mark spent twenty five years working as a clinician and senior manager in services for people with cognitive impairments. He specialised in developing services for people with severe and enduring challenging behaviour using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). He has a professional background in doctoral research and was an associate university lecturer for six years. He has an established record of success in the public and private sector in terms of service delivery, professional education, team development and training. He has written numerous learning and development programmes across his broad field of interest. His last public sector post was as a Non-Medical Consultant specialising in ADHD, conduct disorders, autism and acquired brain injury. He has conducted research in stress and burnout in caregivers and also in improving quality indicators in social care. Mark has published work on issues of mental capacity and acquired brain injury.
