Most of my working life has been spent in the field of business finance, arranging leasing, loans, factoring etc for businesses from start up, through growth and - sadly but inevitably - occasionally in distress or turnaround situations. I started my own brokerage with a partner over 20 years ago and still run an independent finance brokerage Business Funding Portal The experience of running my own businesses and of dealing daily with others in various stages of the success cycle has allowed me to indulge my passion of helping others to start businesses. This is done on a voluntary basis under the Government NEA scheme, as a part-time lecturer for Guildford College and Strodes College, Egham, and on a one-to-one basis under my business KickstartBTM.
