I believe that we can change the world. Through positive, constructive discussion and engagement - and by rolling up our sleeves and doing the hard work of loving our neighbors, helping our communities and working together - I believe we are working toward a better tomorrow. The power of the human spirit can be channeled for great good, or something darker. I want to be a part of the good.

I am a husband, a father, a new agrarian, an organic farmer, a food system activist, a home cook, a grass farmer and a lover of beauty. I run a business using sheep to manage landscapes and serve as a member of the board of the Georgia Sheep and Wool Growers Association. I volunteer as the founder of a local food system nonprofit, Macon Roots.
