Mark Van Dop

Real estate designer and developer Mark Van Dop has been in the business of creating singular custom homes in British Columbia's world-renowned communities for over 20 years. Valuing each client's individual tastes, preferences, and budget above all else, he has built a career out of manifesting dream residences. The founder of distinctive, Vancouver-based Markright Contracting Ltd., Mark Van Dop currently serves as his company's head project manager.

Instrumental in each project's completion from start to finish, he accounts for a property's natural surroundings for maximum comfort and aesthetic quality. Utilizing the industry's most advanced construction materials, methods, and technology, Van Dop designs homes that reflect his extensive experience and seasoned career. Among his most esteemed projects is the renovation of a historic building in Suntown near Vancouver.

He began his career in home contracting with Kenorah Construction as project manager. Several projects headed by Van Dop earned the Georgie Award, which is conferred by the Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia to builders representing industry excellence. Included in his extensive portfolio are several residences in Furry Creek, a reputable British Columbia community set against the Sky to Sea Corridor.

A frequent contributor to benevolent causes, he supports the British Columbia Children's Hospital, the Whistler Health Care Foundation, and the Burnaby Hospital, as well as a number of other local benefits. Van Dop has a wife, Catherine, and two sons, Ethan and Harrison.
