My parents have this touching story of when I was a child. They gave me a ballpoint pen and some paper so I could draw a picture. I immediately started to take the pen apart so I could figure out how it worked. Twenty-five years later, I've almost figured it out. I learned a lot of other things along the way. Now my major focus is chemistry. Instead of a pen, I'm taking apart molecules. Discovery and exploration keep me looking forward.
