Mark Young

My name is Mark and I have few main passions in my life.

The first of these is writing. A graduate from a Sports Journalism course at the University of Bedfordshire helped me to continue to fall in love with the written word.

The idea of having my own opinion read, as I do have a few or to be the first to write a piece of news is exciting to me.

I can try my hand at anything writing wise and one thing I will always give it is my all. Passion, hard work and a never say die attitude will help me achieve my goals.

I am a believer in my own abilities and hope that will make others feel the same.

My second passion is family, la familia.

They say that heartbreak brings people together and that was none more evident than last year where we lost my half brother at a ridiculously stupid age but what I learned was how many strong people I have in my life.

My dad, my hero is an inspiration although I am unsure if he knows it. His stubborness and will to fight on will always drive me to do him proud and to be the best I can be without wasting a minute.

My final passion is sport. Hence majoring in it during my University degree. Football and tennis are my main sports but give me anything at any level and you will probably find me engrossed.
