Mark Zweifach is an actor, director, and puppeteer in California. He has been interested in theater since his formative years, and studied both psychology and theater arts at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. After completing his bachelor of arts there, Mark Zweifach went on to earn advanced degrees at both San Francisco State University in San Francisco and the University of California at Irvine.

Mr. Zweifach has enjoys creative writing and live theater, and has recently become very active in the California theater scene. He has performed in plays including Psychopathia Sexualis, A Delicate Balance, and Shadowlands.

He has also become a successful director, serving as assistant director for Betrayal as well as Arsenic and Old Lace. His directing credits include November, Moon Over Buffalo, and I Am My Own Wife, which earned him an outstanding director nomination from the National AACTFest Awards in 2015. Mr. Zweifach won the 2012 Aubrey Award for his directing as well.

Outside of the theater, Mr. Zweifach does volunteer work for the Red Cross as well as some local charities. He supports the Alpha Project, the San Diego Hospice, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Second Chance.
