Marlaina Knowles

Marlaina Knowles is a Registered Massage Therapist, Registered Nurse, women’s wellness specialist, educator, business owner and woman of big ideas who loves to help others unlock their self-healing abilities. She has been a practicing healer for over 10 years and is known as a specialist in the women’s health & wellbeing community. Her passions include prenatal, postnatal care with an emphasis on helping others to tap into there inner strengths. Marlaina truly believes that everyone has an extraordinary gift to share and it’s her intention to help others believe in the beauty from within.

Through her journey she has come to appreciate the power of thought and its ability to influence every aspect of life. Our thoughts come from so many facets and it’s her goal to spread positive, life altering messages to others. Through her teachings and send out cards Marlaina has found the way to touch so many. It is her belief that by living with gratitude you have the ability to share gratitude. Just by sending a heart felt card or sending a stranger a smile will positively affect that person, in turn allowing them to share a little love with another. And the cycle continues you share a little, they share a little and the entire world becomes a more positive place. This mindset developed into a beautiful collaboration with a group of likeminded individuals, ultimately leading to the co-founding of The Gratitude Train- a movement striving to inspire others to unlock the fullness of life though embracing a gratitude lifestyle and authentic, inspired connection.

She is also the owner of Upstream Wellness, a massage therapy practice designed for women; whose mission is to help women tune into their inner healer. Marlaina has the unique ability to filter through all the noise and truly listen to the body’s innate ability to heal. She not only uses her talent to help guide healing but also teaches others to “heal thyself”. Once we have the understanding and ability to listen, then we have the ability to heal and teach others to do the same.

We are all in this beautiful world together, we are all equals, we all have a story to share, we are learning everyday, and we all have the ability to teach others to see the beauty of the world around and the beautiful from within!
