Marlin Williams creates unique characters that are eccentrically engaging. Influenced at a young age by old science fiction and horror flicks, his imagination is a bottomless well of creepy crawlies trying to get out, bizarre situations, and downright weird tales. In the real world, he lives a relatively normal life in Texas with his wife, two cats, and a dog.
Marlin's career as a freelance writer of online health and fitness publications switched gears in 2011 when he entered his first creative writing contest. He received the grand prize award for his short story, The Agency. That encouraged him to pursue his love of fiction and he continued to write short stories. As an Indie author, Williams published his first novel, The Attic Piranhas, in the humor genre. In August this year, his work captured the attention of a publishing house. WhiteBird Publishing has compiled his short stories into a collection entitled, Twisted Tales. The book is distributed through Ingram Press and is now available in paperback and ebook format at numerous online bookstores all over the globe including Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
Marlin is currently working on his next novel—a new kind of sci-fi thriller. He enjoys hearing from his readers. Contact him via email: [email protected].
