Marlon Richardson

I am a fine art wedding photographer. For me, there is nothing more beautiful than photographing the essence of your wedding day using only natural light and film based photography. By capturing alluring details amongst the ordinary, I create a unique and complete view of your wedding experience using still photography.

My hope is that these photos will bring happiness to you and your family for many years to come, while always rekindling the emotions of your wedding day. My boutique studio preserves the most important times in a family’s life — engagement, wedding, childhood , special celebrations — in a modernly refined, yet pure style. Before turning pro I was a life long amateur photography completely engrossed in the technical aspects of photography. I apprenticed for several years with Vietnam war photojournalist Anthony Johnson, where I learned not only to hone my craft but also how to properly conduct a business. In 2004 I created Marlon Richardson Photography specializing in wedding and portrait photography. As an avid film photographer, my style can best be described as fine art photographic storytelling.

I photograph the most important aspects of weddings in a documentary style, while composing and directing portraits to capture the essense of the day. My love of capturing weddings on film, coupled with my passion for presentation, keeps me constantly inspired.
