ABOUT ME:
I live in Montreal, Canada and though I work as a project consultant, I have always had a passion for fiction writing. I am what you would call an “observer” and it’s the little things in day-to-day life that spark my story ideas. My characters are not real but are loosely inspired by people and strangers I have encountered over the years and my storylines are loosely based on situations experienced or told to me, of course, spiced up with a drama.
WHY I WRITE:
I am a writer at heart.
For as long as I can remember, I loved to write fiction. As a child, I found myself happiest spinning tales for my own pleasure in my spare time, rarely sharing them with others. University, building a career and all the other “life” responsibilities that go hand in hand with being a full-fledged adult, it was time to get back to basics and return to what I still love. Though we are well into the era of laptops and tablets, I still think that there is nothing sexier than a smooth and comfortable ink pen and a crisp new notebook to jot down ideas for future stories.
Originally, my goal for this blog was to learn about blogging, develop a writing habit and share posts with others of the same mindset via the WordPress Writing 101 Challenge. But after the challenge was over, I found myself with a revived passion for what I love and continue to use the platform as a way to hone my writing skills while I work on a storyline that has been rambling around in my head for years. I hope that one day, I may be blessed to catch the eye of a publishing company and see my name on the cover of a few books.
WHAT I WRITE:
My interest is to write stories based on ethnically diverse characters who are could be living next door to you and dealing with issues that we have all dealt with at some point in our lives. Characters who are trying to run the obstacle course of life to find their way to love, happiness and peace. I hope that you enjoy the fiction that I create.
My main posts will touch on the little things I come across in daily life, funny anecdotes I find worthy of sharing and from time to time, Fiction Flavor where I share samples of what I have been working on.
My “Perspective” pieces are based on my personal opinion about things that I have read (articles, books, another blogger’s post) or a situation relayed to me on which I have my own personal perspective. I wel
