Kevin Marquez

Kevin Marquez is a third year transfer student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Kevin is a first generation college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing.
Kevin attended High School in Keller, Texas. There he became a member of the drum line. During his time with the marching band, he learned about hard work, dedication, and commitment. His junior year he became a section leader, which is a leadership position within the drum line.
After high school, Kevin attended Tarrant County Community College. During his second year there, he earned a Community Service Award for his community service project. Kevin earned the Presidential Transfer Scholarship from Texas Tech which allowed him to Transfer to the University of Texas Tech in the fall of 2014.
Kevin currently works at the Michael Berg Farmers Insurance agency as a marketer. There he performs various duties including telemarketing, setting up meetings with clients, and promoting the agency through social media.
After College Kevin plans on pursuing a full time marketing position with Farmers Insurance.
