Isaiah Hill

Marquis is a 19 year old christian rapper from Kings Mountain, NC. He grew up in a house with two brothers and his mom and no dad. He finally met his dad at age 17. His whole life he relied on his mother to play both roles and his uncle even played a big part in helping raise him. When Marquis turned 12 he accepted Jesus into his heart as his Lord and Savior. God then became the Heavenly Father he needed because of the lack of having an earthly father in his life. Marquis, having known music all his life, decided he wanted to pursue a career in it. When he started out with the christian rap game he called himself TFC standing for The Father's Creation. Marquis started to do the music and build up a little bit of a following and realized he was doing it all for his own personal gain and not for the one he was writing about in his songs. When Marquis realized this he started everything over on a clean slate. He changed his name from TFC to Marquis and started doing his music for the Lord without a care in the world if he gets recognition for it or not.
