Marrisa Marshall

Marrisa J. Marshall, a native of the greater-Houston area and five year industry veteran, is the Project Coordinator of Internet LAVA, LLC. Within her role, she gives clients a peace of mind as she effectively captures and communicates relevant updates while overseeing projects from start to finish and delivering outstanding customer service. Not only does Marrisa act as a client-company interface, but she also assists and provides support with social media, content development and SEO marketing.

Prior to joining Internet LAVA, LLC, Marrisa worked in the Financial Services industry as the Business Development Coordinator of Wealth Development Strategies LLC (WDS) – one of Houston’s oldest comprehensive financial planning firms – where she was in charge of Marketing, Social Media and Millennial Recruiting and Onboarding. During her tenure at WDS, Marrisa's innovative mindset played a major role in the rebranding of the firm in order to attract the right clientele and talent while learning from industry legend and mentor – Cheryl D. Creuzot.

In 2013, Marrisa graduated from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Business Marketing and Corporate Entrepreneurship. She completed coursework that allowed her to excel in Customer Relations, Electronic Commerce and Management.

When she’s not catching up on the latest marketing trends, Marrisa enjoys traveling, reading, art, wine tasting and obsessing over Game of Thrones. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Psi – Professional Co-Ed Business Fraternity, the American Marketing Association, the Greater Houston Partnership - HYPE committee and Women Working Wonders.
