Marsha Goodhead

Obstetrician Dr. Marsha Goodhead possesses over three decades of experience in her field of specialty. In addition to practicing privately, Dr. Goodhead serves on the staff of Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she holds responsibility for the supervision of all major office decisions, deliveries, and surgeries. Dr. Marsha Goodhead also belongs to a number of committees within Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center. She actively participates in the Sunny Babies program (previously known as Baby Your Baby), a prenatal care program for mothers that guides them through the process of finding a physician and applying for Medicaid to insure both mother and child. The program provides free childbirth classes and delivery pre-registration at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center or its affiliated hospitals, as well. Dr. Marsha Goodhead graduated second in her class with numerous academic awards from the School of Medicine at Queen’s University of Canada in 1975. She completed her obstetrical residency program at the University of Toronto and is board-certified to practice medicine in both Canada and the United States. Dr. Goodhead holds membership with the American Medical Association and the Nevada State Medical Association and has been a member of the Clark County Obstetrical and Gynecological Society for over 30 years. She also remains active on the committee of the University United Methodist Church, which directs local and international church mission projects. Dr. Marsha Goodhead accepts patients without regard for their ability to pay and has participated in several mission projects in Jamaica and Mexico, helping to build churches.
