Originally from Beaumont, Texas, I now live in Raleigh, NC, where I work for IBM as a Distinguished Engineer and Chief Architect for IBM Connections Cloud. When I'm able to escape work, I enjoy carpentry, Taekwondo, travel, boating, and general outdoorsy stuff.

I also enjoy solving problems, particularly of a structural or technical nature. I love math, and while I can't remember most of the formulas I once memorized, I strongly believe it trains your brain to be a good problem solver.
