I'm a written communicator at my core, whether that means blasting out a 140 (soon to be 280) character social media missive or penning a 1,000 word blog post. No matter the parameters of the assignment, I can sell a message while making it both appealing and engaging.

Currently, I am a Social Media Account Executive at Integrate Agency where I handle all things social for a roster of clients spanning the industries of food, healthcare and real estate. Beyond merely broadcasting content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and more, my work takes place within the framework of an integrated public relations and marketing strategy. I utilize organic and paid capabilities of social media platforms to achieve a wide range of goals for my clients (in tandem with a team member handling media and community relations).

Outside the office, I spend most of my time seeing the media landscape from a different angle: freelance film journalism. I have blogged on my own for over 8 years at Marshall and the Movies and recently expanded to cover film festivals, new releases and more for outlets such as Slashfilm, Film School Rejects and Little White Lies. As a scrappy freelancer, I have gained invaluable knowledge about working with editors on coverage priorities, selling a unique angle and liaising with publicists to secure interviews with talent.
