I am originally from Durham, NC where I graduated from Durham High School. I received my undergraduate degree from UNC-CH, masters from Gardner-Webb and doctorate from Wingate. I taught high school social studies for 13 years before entering school adminstration. I have served as AP and principal at South Elementary since 1997.
I am married to Barclay Marsh (31 years and counting) and have have two sons (patrick and Jordan), and a daughter-in-law (Jill). Our two dogs (Kenan and Indy) keep us company when we re not on the road the cheer on the Tar Heels!
