Marta currently combines her experience in movie marketing with a new hospitality project, a bar restaurant called Petit Montjuïc, in Barcelona. Petit Montjuïc is also a dynamic meeting point for artists, actors and the creative community, from which many artistic and social project are developed.
Marta is a creative and strategic Marketing professional for films and documentaries. She has more than 16 years experience working for distributors, producers and has been deeply involved in Education and Professional Training.
Her own agency Working at Weekend (WAW), in partnership with Núria Costa, promoted and marketed successful movies such as HANDIA and LOREAK, both produced by Irusoin & Moriarti, shot in the Basque Language, distributed in Spain by Acontracorriente, Sales Agent Film Factory. Also marketed he succesful Catalan movie INCERTA GLORIA and PA NEGRE, both of them directed by acclaimed director Agustí Villaronga and produced by Isona Passola, Massa d’Or, are two other titles she holds in her CV.
In the training field, she is in charge of the popular Business Master’s degree from the ESCAC. This is a course that has had a great impact on Spanish Film sector. Its teachers are professionals from firms such as Film Factory, DeAPlaneta, Filmax, Yelmo, Wuaki, etc.
She has also created in ESCAC the renowned PROYECTA Prize, which awards the best marketing campaign together with the best distribution in Spain.
She is also involved in International Training projects. Proimagenes Colombia has hired her to attend 3 years the Producers Meeting Encuentros in Cartagena de Indias. She also currently works for EICTV, the Cinema School in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba.
