Prior to working in smart lighting, Marta was an IoT Product Designer working on consumer connected devices in the Bay Area. After being part of an Early stage Venture Capital (True Ventures) as a TEC fellow, Marta joined an interactive light technological company (Symmetry Labs) delivering cutting edge innovative projects for large corporations. Marta Studied Industrial Design with a focus on engineering, manufacturing and intelligent devices at Elisava University of Design and Engineering in Barcelona. Due to her interest and active participation in technology, at an early age Marta won a grant from ImagineCC-Silicon Valley and worked in a FinTech-IoT project for Bank Sabadell as an IoT design Lead. Marta has had the opportunity to enrich her knowledge with complementary education in PM for IoT, Business, VC, and Engineering from incredible institutions like Stanford. Marta also dedicates time mentoring young minds interested in STEM, while actively participating in IoT, Home Automation, and Smart Lighting collectives.
