I'm CPA candidate and graduate accounting student at Georgia State University. I will attain the 150-credit hour education requirement when I complete the Master of Professional Accountancy program at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business in August 2011. I will sit for the CPA exam between June and October of 2011. I am eligible to complete a Master of Taxation degree by Summer 2012.

I seek a staff assurance position with a public accounting firm in Atlanta, GA or New York, NY. As a future external auditor, I'm interested in specializing in any of the following industries: financial services, technology, and manufacturing.

I hold leadership positions in AWSCPA of Georgia and the Georgia Society of CPAs. I am a member of AICPA and Beta Alpha Psi - Beta Mu chapter. I was the project manager for "Atlanta's Women's Accounting Conference: Where is the Glass Ceiling Today?" which took place on November 12, 2010.
