In 2001 I started growing lavender on the farm that I grew up on, and Lavender Hill Farm of NIles, MI was born. After planting our first half acre of lavender, I started creating bath and body products using dried lavender and lavender buds. The business has grown to include over an acre of lavender in cultivation; distillation of our own fresh lavender flowers to obtain the essential oil and hydrosol; beehives to produce all-natural, raw lavender honey, dried lavender buds and bunches for sale; production of over 100 unique products using lavender and other essential oils; and a U-Pick lavender season that extends from mid-June to mid-July each year.
