Martha Lee

at Kona Joe's Coffee Farm

With over 40 years in the culinary industry Martha is a force to be reckoned with…

Martha has had an extensive career in the culinary world since graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1976. Everything from apprenticing as a pastry chef at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas to working as the Garde Manger sculpting majestic ice carvings at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis. She has also worked as the head chef for a prestigious french restaurant, owned very successful high volume catering companies and had her own cooking program on WREG-TV.

Martha brings all this and more to the table as the owner and chef at Martha’s Seascape Restaurant and Cooking School. You understand the moment your meal arrives. Your senses are tantalized as the aroma starts you drifting, the visual presentation relaxes your anticipation and you taste how incredible the food is coming out of her kitchen. You realize this is not your ordinary chef. When I asked Martha what was one of her favorite jobs over the course of her amazing career, she said it was being a Culinary Instructor at the L’ECOLE CULINARE in Germantown, Tennessee. Martha loves to teach and we are extremely lucky that she choose Hawai’i as the place to open her own cooking school.

It is really exciting that Martha is bringing her amazing gifts and talents to the Island of Hawai'i. Enjoy a fantastic meal at her restaurant and sign up for a course at her cooking school here on our our beautiful shores of the Island of Hawai'i.
