She was born in Santa Marta, Colombia. Martha is the daughter of Elpidio Rojas and Marly Lopez. She has one older sister, Karen Rojas and an older brother, Maikol Rojas.
Martha Rojas (Santa Marta - Colombia) is a Colombian Actress/Director/Producer. She started her passion for acting at very young age when she participated in a play at her school. Her first paid role was in a Colombian short film “Las Donantes” for Orbbe Television in 2008. She then made several appearances on a well know Colombian TV series called “Padres e Hijos” in 2009. She was then cast by Caracol TV for a featured role in “Tu Voz Stereo” in 2009. She graduated from the University of Magdalena in Santa Marta majoring in International Business; however, her passion for acting led her to audition for The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute where she studied for 2 years and participated in plays such as “Agnes of God” by John Piermeir, “No No Nanette” a Musical by Irving Caesar and “How to succeed in a business without really trying” a Musical by Frank Loesser. Martha volunteered for Grace Church in San Diego California to direct the Musical Christmas County Spelling Bee for kids in 2012. She also joined The Pan Pacific Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA where she completed her internship with the video production department in 2013. She wrote the script for the infomercial, “The Calling” in 2014 under her friend and The Pan Pacific Film Video Production Director David Joo’s supervision. She also coordinated over 12 classroom trainings and Q&A’s for the 2014 PPFF workshops in Los Angeles, CA.Martha is a woman committed to inspire audiences with projects that change lives.
