Hi. My name is Martha Barnes. I work hard every day, just to see the positive acts of my own race. I am grauduate of Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and have attended several other 2-year colleges earning Associate degree titles. I enjoy reading poetry and writing as well. I am a liberal and volunteer my time assisting the State of Michigan Department of Elections with the City of Detroit elections. My values as a Michigan resident stem from a long line of philosophical arguments regarding realism, the existance of GOD, rationalism and metaethics. I believe all acts of anger can be controlled and where it not is where the devil manifests.
I lost my mother in 1991 at the age of 19 and in 1992, I bore my second child, a son. I hurt, I feel and I try to convey, "Stop the violence". I pray and I seperate myself from others where I believe "...they do not understand..." I accredit my triumphs to my true friends that without judgment have pardoned my tears and cheered me on. I have communicated my efforts to stop racism but to no avail the "...miseducation..." of our children is misunderstood because of the degradation amongst ourselves towards others.
I apologize for being myself angry at Men but because of judgment towards me, I have been rapped and I continue to be judged because of traits that I don't have since losing my mother. My struggle is real. I can't stress enough that without judgment war would not exist and because it does not begin or end without the generation of my people, I will continue to work hard, I will continue to be myself and live to be happy.
