Martha is a fully bilingual Miami native of Cuban descent and the daughter of a Cuban political prisoner who lived six years in Venezuela. She is 4th generation farmer, a community council-woman in Miami and is the Vice Chair of the Miami-Dade County Libertarian Party.

She is the founder of the Florida Genetic Center and two successful e-tailers, Vetamerica.com and Pureformulas.com. In 2011, PureFormulas ranked 97th among the 500 fastest growing companies in the US, according to Inc. Magazine. Today PureFormulas remains one of the leading online retailers of health supplements and organic products.

She currently hosts Libertarios Hispanos with Zach Foster, a Spanish-language internet show broadcast live through the Libertarian Party Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/LibertarianParty) every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM EST.
