Wife of Tom, the most wonderful, kind, inspiring husband I could ever imagine.

Mother to two amazing sons, Gene and Eric, who are grown and thriving, and, happily, living close by.

AFS student, 1972-73, in Zwevezele, Belgium. AFS mom to Ayano from Japan, Dima from Russia (now Australia), and Romain from France. AFS sister to Katell from France. Walk together, talk together, all ye peoples of the earth; then and only then shall ye have peace.

Grew up in the small city of Lockport, NY. Great childhood in a great place with great parents and great sister. Graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in phys ed and minor in math. Taught middle school math in Ann Arbor for three years before children.
