I am a musician/songwriter, living in rural Scotland. I began playing live during the mid-Sixties in my teens, as a founder-member of folk-rock band The Bo-Weevils; based on Merseyside in the U.K.

Subsequent bands, based on Tyneside, include The Hot Rod Gang, The Sabrejets (signed to Blueport Music & supported by John Peel, Charlie Gillett, Greg Shaw (USA) & others) Diesel & the Firebirds & The Kindness of Strangers; as well as duos with Lynnette, Irene Sutherland & Paul Templeman.

During the Covid-19 crisis I’ve been performing livestream shows from our former shepherd’s bothy; #LateNiteInTheBorders (Thursdays 10pm-midnight U.K. time) & #AfternoonInTheBorders (2.30-3.30pm U.K. time) reaching viewers across the world. I’m currently working towards adding regular shows for viewers on the Twitch platform.
