Martina joined the South Street Seaport Museum as Collection Manager and Registrar in the summer of 2015. Since 2018 she is Director of Museum Collections. Prior, she was the Program Director of Ferrin Contemporary’s collection and gallery space located on the campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams, Mass.

Prior her time in Western Massachusetts, Martina collaborated with several New York City institutions, including The Drawing Center, International Center of Photography, Steven Kasher Gallery, and Aperture Foundation.

Martina is interested in art, museums, and history in a wide-variety of contexts and channels. She is also passionately involved in social media networking and she actively engages with #ARCSchat and #ITweetMuseums initiatives.
