Martina moves in artistic environment since her high school years, where she has chosen a department of animated film. This influence is reflected through her work as well.
She has a master degree from Academy of arts in Banska Bystrica where she attended classes in Studio of Contemporary arts. The figure and portrait is the core issue of her art and accompanies the entire decade of her creative life. Martina's paintings are marked by her own experience and they become kind of a testimony on the status of women today which might be represented in different images of nude or portrait. These are set to the locations and contexts pointing to the private problems of women and their emotional state of mind at different stages of her life.
In processing of these themes, she holds a realistic view, although the color doesn’t keen on realistic ones. Very often she uses over life - size scale, which she feels very comfortable with.
