In his long career as a private equity investor, Martin Bodenham witnessed investment banking's greed and fear at first hand, providing plenty of dramatic material for his financial thriller novels. Bodenham sets his fast-paced plots against the real world backdrops of international finance and corporate dealmaking, giving his stories authenticity and credibility.

UK-born, but now living in Canada, Bodenham is the former CEO of a London-based private equity firm. He was also a corporate finance partner at both KPMG and Ernst & Young.

His latest thriller, SHAKEDOWN, was published in November 2017 by Down & Out Books. His debut novel, THE GENEVA CONNECTION, has held the number one position on Goodreads' best financial thrillers list for the past four years.
