Martine Gauthier earned her B.A and her M.A. from the University of Paris in French Literature and Mandarin Chinese, with a focus on Linguistics. Martine received a scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study at Beijing University for two years. She worked as a trilingual interpreter for many years. Martine is a French native speaker and teaching languages has always been her passion. After settling in New York, she went to The French Institute/Alliance Française to teach French at all levels since 2011. She concurrently teaches at The City University of New York Graduate Center.
