My career goal is to help the corporate industry communicate with its publics through social media, by integrating traditional public relations practices with new media. Everyday is a challenge to keep up with the busy pace in the field of public relations.
I planned and publicized programs as a member of a sorority and as a former resident advisor. I collaborated with newspaper and T.V. media staff through my internships with non profit organizations. I've always had an interest in human services— I've done volunteer work since I was fourteen years old. In fact, I received the President's Volunteer and Service Award twice! It's a national award that recognizes the completion of more than 100 hours of community service in one academic year.
I am a quick, intuitive learner who can adjust to any work environment. In non profit, in public relations, in the age of the quickest attention span man has ever had... that's what keeps a PR pro making plays and not just part of the game.
