Head of Technical Architecture for a UK payments company. Large scale payment systems, highly critical systems, data centre migration, consolidation/virtualisation, public and private cloud deployment . Responsible for systems architecture and delivery across all technology stacks, roadmaps and strategy, and managing three teams of technical architects. Originally a computational chemist, then Unix engineer, then storage engineer, then consulting technical / solutions architect, now manager, planner and strategy guy. Recently finished a Technology Management MBA, still learning guitar and other stuff, always will be. Interested in tech (data centre and consumer), business, society and future technology.
