Martin was born in Santa Fe, Argentina to his great surprise and, even though was exciting to be part of a land full of rivers and mosquitoes, from his earliest days he preferred to be a citizen under the neon lights of a big city.

So, when his parents moved to Buenos Aires four years later, Martin stowed away in their baggage and landed in this charming South American city where corrupted politicians, "asado" and soccer are the main parts of daily life.

Brought up in the neighbourhood of Buenos Aires and educated in its public schools, he eventually found his way to a multinational company and left his country in 1974. Then he spent the next thirty-five years working and traveling in Latin America, USA, Europe and the Far East. Being a sales and marketing oriented individual has concentrated during the last fifteen years on outsourcing activities linking Southeast Asia factories with European customers.

Agnostic, with a center-left focus in politics, Martin is married, father of five, grandfather of three and lives in Barcelona, Spain since late 1994.
